Wild Oats Records recording artist Joel Alan Lehman
was chosen by Sister Cities of Nashville to perform in
Magdeburg, Germany, as part of that city's 1200th (!)
anniversary celebration. (Magdeburg is the German
sister city of Nashville.) The show, called "Nashville
Colours", took place at Magdeburg's Opera House.
Lehman received a five-minute standing ovation at
the end of his performance. (He closed with a tune
entitled "Hello, Magdeburg", which was penned
especially for the occasion by none other than our
own Team Oat Commander-of-the-Three-Hour-
Lunch-in-Chief himself, Steve Haggard). Joel was
ably backed by Nils Tuxen and a fine band -- Nils
is at left in the photo, playing steel -- and talented
Nashville artist Joy Lynn White opened the show.
