Wild Oats Records artist Joel Alan Lehman
headlined a June 2005 concert in Magdeburg,
Germany, celebrating the 1200th anniversary (!)
of that city. (Magdeburg is Nashville's German
sister city.) Nashville singer/songwriter Joy Lynn
White was also featured on the show. Very special
thanks to our friend in Magdeburg, Dieter Geske,
for his help with the event. The day after the show,
he and his wife treated Joel and Joy to some fine
"Deutsches Essen" at a nearby restaurant. (Joel
