This shot was taken from the back of the
large amphitheatre at Mt. Rushmore, just
as Gail & The Tricksters began their June
2006 performance for the park's 'Roots of
American Music' series. The band members
from L-R: Dave Kramer, Steve Haggard,
Richard Copeland, Gail Lloyd, and Tony
Garcia. (Looming overhead, of course, is
another famous group: George Washington,
Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and
Abraham Lincoln.) By the time the concert
ended, it was dark, and there was a dramatic
lighting ceremony at the monument.
