session musicians available here in Nashville, our talented and
experienced production division is able to deliver master-quality,

The acclaimed production staff here at Oat Central is headed by   Steve Haggard, and includes Randall Merryman & Jack Howell.

Steve Haggard is a successful producer, recording artist, musician and songwriter. He has won acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic for his five Wild Oats Records CDs: Mysterious Ways, Make Your Move, Rough Edge, Push Comes To ShoveandLabor Of Love. Steve has performed in 17 countries, as well as at great American venues from the Palomino Club in No. Hollywood to Nashville's Opryland Hotel to the Kerrville Music Festival in Texas.

As a producer, Steve Haggard has worked with the best. He has produced some 50 artists and bands, and the cream of the crop of Nashville session players, including Glen Duncan (Bill Monroe / Rodney Crowell), Stuart Duncan (Patty Loveless/George Strait), 
Al Perkins (Gram Parsons/Bob Dylan/Emmylou Harris), Harry Stinson (Steve Earle/Vince Gill), "Byrd" Burton (Nanci Griffith/ David Allan  Coe), Bill Cooley (Kathy Mattea/Reba McEntire) and Joey Miskulin (Johnny Cash/U2).

Recording engineer Randall Merryman brings a rare combination of the technical and the creative to Team Oat's production staff.
During his 23-year career, Randall has worked on studio projects
with (to name a few) the Marshall Tucker Band, Johnnie Johnson,
Kitty Wells, Keb Mo and Tanya Tucker, and mastered CDs for the
likes of James Brown, George Jones and Dr. John.

Jack Howell began his career on the staff of legendary producer Jimmy Bowen at MCA Records, and has run his own successful recording business for 15 years. At home in every musical genre from country to classical to alternative, Jack has worked on CD projects for Waylon Jennings, John Anderson, Reba McEntire, Clint Black and many others.
