Ashley
Matzeder has an innate wisdom
"Flyin' High"
which comes
through powerfully in her singing. With
now available !
a seemingly
effortless vocal delivery, she makes it all
seem so easy.
Born and raised in Kansas, Ashley spent
the first five
years of her life on a farm, but she now calls
Leavenworth,
Kansas, home. Possessing a strong civic
sensibility
for someone so young, Matzeder is actively
involved in
community service, has a strong interest in
international
relations and politics, and is a passionate
supporter of
her high school and state athletic teams.
Ashley's greatest
love is singing, though, and she cites
The Judds,
Patsy Cline and Reba McEntire among her
biggest inspirations.
Her talent has kept her busy... in
2005 she won
first place at a state high school singing
competition,
she's a leader in her school choir, and she
has already
begun performing at local venues. One of
of the youngest
additions to the Wild Oats Records roster,
Ashley Matzeder
